New Requests for Inter Partes Reexamination in Official Gazette of April 27, 2010

This week the Official Gazette noticed three inter partes reexamination requests. Microsoft Corporation filed a request against Backweb Technologies’ patent on a distributed client-based data caching system. Nanoco Technologies filed a request against Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s patent on highly luminescent color-selective nanocrystalline materials. FEI filed a request against The Regents of the University of California’s patent on direct collection transmission electron microscopy.

Requests for reexamination were noticed in the USPTO Official Gazette, captioned below. Notice of Filing of Request for Reexamination means that a request for reexamination has been filed, accorded a filing date, and published in the Official Gazette (MPEP 2215).
