Robert Greene Sterne - Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox
Rob serves as Chairman of the Editorial Board, and is a recognized leader in the area of patent reexaminations. He is the lead author of the The Sedona Conference Journal paper on the subject of patent reexamination and parallel patent litigation. Rob is frequently requested to lead industry discussions on reexamination practice and strategy, and has provided reexamination presentations before Sedona, IPO, AIPLA, LES, PLI and ACPC. He has been actively involved with many of the high stake, high profile reexaminations in which hundreds of millions of dollars is often at stake.
Michael D. Specht - Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox

Mike serves as Editor for the Editorial Board. He has been involved in both ex parte and inter partes reexaminations representing both the patent owner and the third party requester. He focuses on reexaminations in the electronics area, with a particular focus on telecommunications and software.

Jon is a co-author of the The Sedona Conference Journal paper on the subject of patent reexamination and parallel patent litigation. He has been involved in both ex parte and inter partes reexaminations representing primarily patent owners that are also involved in concurrent litigation proceedings. He has also represented a number of third party requesters. He focuses on reexaminations in the electronics area and has represented reexamination clients in high profile cases involving semiconductor memory devices, computer gaming software, internet communications and telecommunications.
Lori A. Gordon - Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox

Lori is also a co-author of the The Sedona Conference Journal paper on the subject of patent reexamination and parallel patent litigation. She has been involved in both ex parte and inter partes reexaminations representing both the patent owner and the third party requester. She focuses on reexaminations in the electronics area, across a variety of technologies including RFID, XML, GPS, DVR, wireless SMS, computer memory, and telecommunications.
Michelle Holoubek - Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox
Michelle focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patents as well as contested cases. She has provided infringement and invalidity analysis in opinions for business method, software, medical and telecommunications patents. She is active in many aspects of patent portfolio valuation and development of IP strategy, and has prepared reexaminations of patents as part of an overall litigation strategy in a variety of technologies, including biomedical and software technologies.
Don Banowit – Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox
Don focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation, playing a principal role in the enforcement of intellectual property rights and the defense of intellectual property disputes before the federal district courts, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Central Reexamination Unit and Patent Trial and Appeal Board at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has represented clients from each of the firm’s core technology practice groups (mechanical, electronics/software and chemical/biotechnology) in patent infringement actions, and has litigated trademark and copyright disputes.
Deborah Sterling, Ph.D. – Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox
Deborah’s practice is focused in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, where she is involved in all areas of patent procurement, exploitation and enforcement. She has significant experience in representing clients in patent reexaminations, and in patent interferences and inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trials and Appeals Board (PTAB). She has also been involved in multiple pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent litigations, including those brought under the Hatch-Waxman Act.
Pauline Pelletier – Associate at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox
Pauline assists in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in diverse technology areas including computer software, data and image processing, database design, data security, Internet applications, and computer-related business methods. Ms. Pelletier’s technical background includes programming experience in object oriented software design, rich Internet application development, and data processing involving use of controlled vocabulary schemes and industry standard mark-up languages.
